What’s In Your First-Aid Kit?

In case of emergency, be prepared

Every household should have a first-aid kit, and these are the items you should keep in it:
Ace bandages
Acetaminophen
Alcohol or alcohol wipes
Aloe gel
Antacid
Antibiotic ointment
Anti-diarrhea
Aspirin
Bandages
Benadryl
Burn gel
Calamine lotion
Cold packs
Cotton swabs
CPR barrier
Emergency contacts (including poison control)
EpiPen (even if you don’t have allergies)
Eye wash solution
First aid manual
Gloves (latex or nitrile, if you are allergic to latex)
Hand sanitizer
Hydrocortisone cream (0.5% for kids)
Hydrogen peroxide
Ibuprofen
Safety pins
Scissors
Small magnifying glass
Sterile gauze pads
Tape (adhesive or elastic)
Thermometer
Tweezers
Keep your first-aid kit in the kitchen. The bathroom and laundry room have too much humidity, which can shorten the life span of some of the items. Check the kit once a year; replace expired medications, liquids and ointments and restock used items.
