Olympian Simone Biles and NFL player Jonathan Owens are engaged! Love was truly in the air this week. Not only did the week start with Valentine’s Day, but one of our favorite gymnasts is now a fiancé. Biles shared the wonderful news on Twitter earlier this week, along with a few photos with Owens as he popped the question.

The athletic pair met online right before the pandemic. Last year, Owens told Texas Monthly that the pandemic gave them time to get to know each other better. “It was one of the few times in her life where everything was just shut off, and she couldn’t do anything,” he said. “So we used it to get to know each other—really get to know each other. It created our bond and made it stronger. Now I’m so thankful.”
