Police rule Miss Alabama Zoe Bethel’s cause of death as a ‘tragic accident.’ Bethel won Miss Alabama for her America Strong platform in 2021. Earlier month, the family of Zoe Bethel informed us their daughter died of injuries from an unspecified accident. Initially, many thought Zoe committed suicide.
On February 11th at around 12:05 a.m., Miami Police Department officers responded to a possible suicide attempt. The investigation revealed that the victim “fell out of a third-floor window.” Miami Fire Rescue transported Bethel to Jackson Memorial Hospital. Sadly, she later succumbed to her injuries on Friday. According to an autopsy report, Bethel died from complications of blunt head injury. And the police said the manner of her death was accidental. “This was a tragic accident, and no foul play is suspected,” police say.
Her family took the beauty queen’s Instagram to tell us the tragic news. “On Friday, February 18, 2022, at approximately 5:30 AM Eastern time in Miami, Florida, our beloved Zoe Sozo Bethel passed from this life into the next as a result of succumbing to her injuries,” they wrote. In addition, her family added that Bethel “touched the hearts of many people.”
