Getting Grounded

Sometimes we get caught up in our own headspace with overthinking, stress and worry, we can feel like we’re living in our mind as opposed to our physical bodies.

The act of grounding helps you stay present and reconnect with your body. It essentially helps move energy from your upper chakras down to your lower chakras.

Here are some grounding techniques you can practice anytime you want to bring yourself back down to earth.

  • Digging your feet into the ground
  • Spending time outside and in nature
  • Eating comfort foods reminiscent of home
  • Body movement and dance
  • Mindful breathing
  • Walking and exercising
  • Taking warm baths
  • Receiving massages and spa treatments
  • Expressing yourself creatively
